What is the difference between the alabaster and opal glass shades?
The Access Lighting 20415 Wall Sconce in Alabaster has texturing and veiny lines throughout the glass. The Opal option is smooth and shiny. Both are white in color.

Product Details for the Access Lighting 20415
Inspired by statues of the mythological Greek nymph, Access Lighting's Daphne Single-Light Wall Sconce unites classical lines and feminine curves in a contemporary silhouette. Frosted alabaster or opal glass is tapered to emit soft up light and down light, and includes both Brushed Steel and White knobs to subtly punctuate the look. This incandescent luminaire is CUL-listed for dry environments and ADA-compliant.

Can this fixture be used with a dimmer switch?
Thanks for your question. The Access Lighting 20415 uses a 100w medium base bulb, so it can be used with a standard dimmer.
How far down does the light extend from where it attaches to the wall. Is there any adjustment?
This item measures 6" from the center of the backplate to the bottom of the fixture.
What is the width of the shade?
The Access Lighting 20415 is 11.75H X 5.5L with an extension of 4" from the wall.
Would light bulbs be provided? Should we purchase a large quantity?
The Access Lighting 20415 does not include the light bulb. But it uses a standard medium base incandescent 100 watt bulb. These are your most common type of bulb that can be purchased anywhere.
