Great Purchase
Our master bath venting fan finally broke after 28 years. We thought we'd never find a replacement. Thank goodness for Venting Direct. Our new vent went in easier than our old vent went out!

Are the bulb sockets for model AK927 made of porcelain/ceramic or plastic?
The Air King AK927 has porcelain sockets per the manufacturer.
Is there a seperate light just for lighting or is the only light heat lamp light
The Air King AK927 is a Heat Lamp with Fan.Requires 2-250 watt max, R40 bulb type, medium base, 1700 Btu.
Can I put this fan in my shower?
Fans equipped with heaters, such as the Air King AK927 can not be installed in showers. They are UL listed for damp locations but should be installed outside the shower area.
Is it OK to cover the AK 927 with blown-in insulation? If so, how deep?
You will need to keep a 6" clearance from the unit to the insulation.
can one switch turn on the fan and lights at the same time?
The Air King AK927 can be set up to use turn them on at the same time.
