Energy Star 70 CFM Bath Fan Only with 1.5 Sones and Snap-In Installation from the BFQ Series
Decent Value for the Money
Bought two to replace 40-year old 40 CFM fans in two small toilet/shower rooms. Easy installation. Just had to enlarge the holes a few inches. The one pictured was installed entirely from below. They are much quieter than the old ones and do a noticeably better job of removing moisture. The plastic vent cover attaches to the housing with spring clips. I had to work it a bit to get the cover to pull tightly to the ceiling. The clips could be beefier.
One had a manufacturing defect that caused the fan to bind on the housing. Called the 800 number on a Sunday and they delivered a replacement in 4-5 days at no cost. Five stars for customer service.

Great fan, but
I bought two of these fans because I could not beat the price for the sound level and air movement they promise.
I was putting them into bathrooms that never had fans, but were finished and painted.
They are pretty quiet and moved air pretty well, but installing them into the clip requires forcing the clip open enough that you have to bend it back for it to hold.
I plan to use caulking on the second fan while propping it in position to hold it level because the first one sagged a little on the opposite side of the weakened clip.

It is just OK. I did not realize that after you turn it on it will continue working for at least 20 minutes, you can not shut it down. I would have found another model if it were clear how it works.

Good quality and very quiet fan
The 70 CFM energy star exhaust fan is mostly all that it states. Quiet rating, quietest I've yet installed and for an excellent price. Only problem I personally had was related to the Snap-In install. Was difficult for my application if you have a type of bracing close to the top of the unit. You will need enough room above the fan to push it up to get it the snap in. Had to get into attic to enable snap-in. Other then that somewhat unique situation, the fan unit is very good for the price point.

Air King Exhaust Fans
Air King makes the best Bath Exhaust Fans bar none. They perform better than Broan, Nutone, any other out their in my opinion. And the quick mount system on the BFQ series is great when replacing an existing fan. No having to go up in an attic to install.

the fan fits flat against the ceiling so it's unobtrusive. It's not very loud, but you definitely know it is on - a little louder than I thought it would be based on the sones number.

This Air King bath fan (BFQ75) was marked 2.0 sones on the box not 1.5 as discribed, none the less is very quiet and for the price is a very good buy. Stew.

Great price, and quiet too!
I'd recommend this bath fan to all my friends, allot less than in the hardware stores.

Quiet and Easy Installation!!
This fan was very easy to install and didn't require much help. Once the fan was in, I only had to go up in the addict once to hook up exhaust outlet. Everything else could be hooked up on the floor side. It's very quiet as well and moves a lot of air. Highly recomend this fan!!
