30" 250 CFM Under Cabinet Range Hood with Infinite Speed Controls from the Quiet Zone Collection
I purhcased this unit with the intent of exhuast venting. It pushes more air than your standard Broan. It does push a lot of air. However, I quit early and didnt install the vent pipe and am relying on non-exhaust. The filter however is really thin and kinda useless. Especialy when in either scenario, oily air is going to pass over the moter and blades. Its the weight of the oil that burns out the motor. For internal venting, a better filter would be much more useful. The connecting wires were way too short. I had to splice wires taken out of the old unit to reach the house wires in back of the unit. The cabinet steel is heavier than the standard.

I bought this for my mother in law who likes to create grease fires while cooking popcorn. The install was pretty easy and it sucks out plenty of the smoke/grease while she cooks. She really needs a commercial hood but this works well enough. The few extra bucks is worth all the extra Cubic Feet/Minute (CFM's) to move more air.

Could be better
It took forever to get the hood. We would be given a ship date and then another ship date, then another. It finally arrived in good condition but when installed the fan made and awful noise. The blade was hitting the case. Luckily I have a handy husband and he was able to correct the problem.
If you are not in a hurry and are handy then purchase the hood. It was reasonably priced.

has a clicking noise, and vibrates rather loudly
looks great, shipped very quickly. one other minor gliche which was resolved rather quickly. my charcoal filter I ordered separately came in a perfectly rectangle box, but, was squashed . the rep apologized and is sending me another out right away.
too much trouble to take down, unwire my cord , and send back for another. guess this one was made on a Friday afternoon.

I started out not knowing a thing about range hoods. I read reviews, and checked the different features offered. Then I looked at price. Here is what I selected for my kitchen project... the hood itself is not some flimsy sheet metal found in other hoods, but is a heavier gauge with a nice powder-coated finish. The fan pulls 30-50 cfm more than its competitors, it is quiet, best of all is the infinite speed setting - instead of just and on/off switch. The light switch has a high and low setting too, which I use on low as a night light after the cooking is done. The hood is well made and has an overall modern design and looks good after being installed. It is so easy to hook up the wiring and install, I didn't even bother to use the instructions. I wonder why would people feel they need to spend $500-$1000 on a range hood when you have the Quiet Zone Collection out there that does the same thing - if not better - for around $100? The only chink in the armor came from being made to feel I needed to purchase the GF06 filter separately, as the description does not mention one is already included with the hood, but whats an extra $11?. Delivery was fast, and the product was well protected and arrived undamaged. Overall I am very happy with this product and would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody out there interested in buying a range hood.

best range hood
Super product. Sucks all the vapor. Keeps eyes from burning when you deep fry.

Great value compared to many higher priced range hoods. We looked at several of the range hoods at the big home improvement stores, and this one is very nicely built. The gauge of the metal is very thick, not thin and flimsy like many we looked at. I love the infinite control for the fan. The fan is fairly quiet, not as quiet on high speed. The power on high speed is excellent. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Product is very nice for the price, and goes great with the range we purchased. Only complaint I have is that the manufacturer does not allow enough wire to connect the electric connections. I had to double splice the wires together to reach.
