Hampton Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray
Handsome, Easy to Use Kitchen Faucet w/ Side Spray
Just add this review to the other great ones! Stylish, but not too "out there" faucet. Mine is the brushed satin, which goes well with my new stainless steel sink. I like the side spray too, didn't have one before, and it makes it easy to wash down corners of the sink. Warning to others from the plumber who installed it: Do NOT overtighten the handles when you turn off the water. He has seen them get stripped too quickly, then problems later. I therefore turn water off slowly, just to the point where there's no longer a drip. Fast efficient service from Faucet Direct; I'll be ordering a bathroom faucet next. But back to my kitchen faucet: Something else to like is that this product is American Made. Yeah!

I have had this faucet for one month. I chose it because it has ceramic parts and should be less prone to leaks. My previous Moen faucet, not a cheap one, was only 5 years old and it was repaired about 4 times because of leaking. The American Standard is tall and pots easily fit under it. The handles and spray attachment are far superior to my previous faucet.

Since I am not comfortable tackling a job like replacing a faucet and knew I would call a plumber for the installation, I carefully read other reviews on the ease of installation as well as he durability of the unit over time. In the past two years, I had to replace an expensive Kohler because I did not know the model number in order to replace a seal and had a plumber put in a new cheap faucet from his truck. My Kohler had leaked into the wall of the basement, so my options were limited. Within a few months, that replacement refused to turn off and continously dripped or ran with a full stream.
I was happy to return to the classic separate handles for easier control of temperature. The installation took just a few minutes, the water flow was much improved, and when I lightly shut off the water-it stays turned off! The ease of use over double basin sink and ease of filling large pots is ideal. Even the hand held device works better.
Very glad to have made this decision and am confident that it will last for years. My plumber commented that the quality of materials and workmanship was a step above the competition in today's market. Glad that I took the time to find this unit rather than settle for something at a local box store.

Best kitchen faucet ever had
Installed new kitchen and purchased this faucet on line, Cost was $206.05 at that time. After I installed this faucet It looked so good and works so good that I just had to tell everyone about it. My wife was not happy that I purchased it on line without her seeing it, but now you could not trade it for any other faucet. I truly recommend this to anyone.

Bought it a 2nd time!
Purchased the same faucet set over nine years ago when our house was built. Was excited to find the exact same one on your web site so many years later when I needed to replace it!

Elegant and Rustic
This faucet has very pretty coloring - a little more copper tones than most oil-rubbed bronze products, and very beautiful. My plumber said it was easy to install. Seems to be very sturdy, though I have only had it for about a month.

The faucet we purchased was very classy and easy to install. I only wish that I had researched a bit more and bought one that sprayed out further instead of straight down. Oh well, we will get used to it.

The faucet and sprayer look lovely on my new cast iron sink. The Plummer had no problem installing it. So far it works perfectly!

I just got my new faucet installed by a plumber and I have one problem. When I turn on the water the side sprayer makes a vibrating sound. I've tried messing with the hose under the sink, but nothing works. I'm not pleased at this point. The plumber stated maybe it will stop as the hose wears.
