Product Technologies:

  • Lifetime Warranty: As an American company, American Standard faucets are built tough. Their products live longer in one place than most people do. Drip-free ceramic disc valves, high-grade lead-free brass alloys, and stainless steel drain cables name just a few of the features which make American Standard bathroom faucets the industry’s longest lasting. To back this up, all American Standard faucets are covered under a lifetime warranty.
  • Indestructible Finishes: Through employing only the best finishing practices, such as physical vapor deposition, American Standard faucet finishes are some of the strongest in the industry. When the finish is actually incorporated into the faucet, rather than a coating on the outside, the result is a flawless appearance that eliminates tarnishing, pitting, and peeling while hiding scratches. For this reason, American Standard faucet finishes are fully covered under the lifetime warranty.
  • Speed Connect System: Assembling, connecting, and adjusting the pop-up drain within the tight space of a vanity cabinet is undeniably the most difficult task when installing a bathroom faucet. Not so with American Standard, though. Each bathroom faucet is supplied with their patented Speed Connect Drains, which simply plug into the faucet and drain. No wrenches, special tools or plumber’s putty are needed. You also won’t need to apply torque to seal the drain or to fuss with the lift rod height. With Speed Connect Drains, bathroom faucet installs take minutes, not hours.
  • Water Conscious: As the 2012 EPA WaterSense partner of the year, American Standard faucets are acclaimed for saving water without sacrificing performance. Through the use of the latest pressure compensating aerators, American Standard faucets save 32% more water than other brands/models. This means that their faucets pay for themselves throughout the life of their use. They also splash less, too.

American Standard 7471.732 Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional Purchased this faucet for the powder bath in our 1942 Chicago Georgian. It immediately dressed up the room. Love the detailing and the finish as well as the ease of turning on and off for aunt with arthritis. Easy to install. Much more beautiful than the faucet we used to have which was all one piece for this 4" on center sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This product was exactly what I was expecting. I really like the American Standard brand and their products are always reliable. This product arrived on time with all of its pieces and parts. My husband installed it without any problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but delicate pop-up drain assembly This is a very attractive and solidly-built faucet set; my only concern/frustration was with the 'unique' pop-up drain assembly, which operates with a cable and screw-on tail-piece attachment. The problem exists with the mounting unit end of the cable assembly, made of plastic, which is to be screwed onto a plated, cast metal thread mount on the tail piece drain mechanism. Care must be taken to screw plastic to metal, or thread stripping will (did!) occur. Fortunately, American Standard honored a warranty call, and sent a replacement cable assembly part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking, great working faucet We love the new faucet! It looks great, feels solid. It fits in well with our 1928 house, looks right for the period, but functions so much better than the faucets of that time. Our contractor who was remodeling the other bath installed it for us, so I can't comment on how easy or difficult it was to install.
