Wire Element Surface Mounted Heater with Built-In Fan, 1250W 4.3 5 7 8
Works Great Used these in the bathroom shower area, gives off good amount of radiant heat to keep one warm after getting out of the shower and enough to keep the room warm on those cold Colorado nights. Had these in my last house and worked well even after 25 years of use. April 23, 2011
What I wanted and expected Easy to install. I just replaced the ceiling light and use the wall switch for on/off. Works just as I expected. December 31, 2010
Good Purchase I bought 2 of these heaters for a few add on rooms I built. I haven't installed them yet because I Live in Florida and it's not needed yet. I believe they will be fine. The shipping and packaging was great; I had no Problems. I ordered 3 through the wall AC units and they work wonderful. Im going to order 3 more for another project in the near future. Thank God For Venting Direct. July 24, 2010
I expected more Easy to install, but not much heat. The fan did not move the heat well. November 29, 2009
Great replacement heater Great replacement for original 40 yr old heater. November 27, 2009
excellent service The Broan 154 Radiant Heater came in record time. It is unobtrusive and heats the small room. My personal taste would be a larger heater but I'm not the only person who uses the room and a more powerful heater is NOT what we ordered. So, I can say that I am pleased with your product and the service you provided. February 16, 2009
Best Purchase Ever??? Actually, this is a pretty nice product considering what's out there. I bought Broan on the advice of a licensed electrician. My house is 10 years old, about 3000 square feet. The unit requires a separate circuit breaker be installed, since it uses 1250 watts. That was difficult as my Master bathroom is a ways away from the breaker box. So, they had to run a wire through my expansive, but thoroughly cluttered attic. I bought the recommended timer switch which installed quite nicely. The appearance of the unit is simply NOT attractive. I've had it installed it in the VERY attractive Master bathroom. The Nutone products may not be as efficient, but they certainly look a heck of a lot nicer! Just make sure you get one that is quiet and powerful. At least, this Braun unit is that. My Master bathroom is not huge, huge. You feel the most warmth by standing directly under the unit. However, I wanted to warm the whole bathroom, in this chilly winter climate in Washington state. I put the heater on for about 10 minutes before I am ready to disrobe. The room is reasonably warm by that time. My wife thinks it is very warm, but I am from South Florida and I only give it a 'reasonably warm' rating. In ending, do I think the $650 electrician installation bill plus the average attractiveness of the unit was worth the effort????? Perhaps not. It IS better than the portable heater I used in the bathroom last year. Still, I think for the money, I am a bit disappointed at the final outcome. Further still, I seem to forget all of this when it is 5 AM and 58 degrees in that bathroom. Oh well, nothing's perfect! November 1, 2007
