Second purchase
Purchased twice. Great heater for small room. Looks great in wall. This one replaced the same heater we had before we remodeled. We moved the other to a game room.

Great Bathroom Heater!
We purchased the Broan 174 Wall Heater to replace
an older model that was at least 20 years old and had worked well but since we were remodeling the bathroom we wanted a newer heater. The new Broan 174 was easy to install and works like a dream. We are very happy with it and would highly recommend this product. It looks great too.

Heat where it's needed
Had a bathroom without any heat duct. I got tired of waking each morning to a cold bathroom. After installing this wall heater I placed it on a light timer. Now it heats the room before I wake then shuts off for the balance of the day. Easy to install, works quietly.

well worth the price
We are remodeling a double house and put one of these in the laundry area of the first side and it worked out so well that we desided to order another one and do the other laundry room.

Really a great wall heater for the bathroom - well built and dual current to boot when installing.

1-8 of 8 6 Questions from the CommunityHave a question about the Broan 174? Ask it here How much square footage will this effectively heat? What are the dimensions of the heater box? What are the dimensions of the louvered cover? Thanks!do i have to cut a hole in the wall or does it in install on the wall?If it runs at 1500kw, how many btu's does that generate? It says it has a front mounted adjustable thermostat, but then recommends a wall control as an sadly purchase. Is this necessary? This heater will just about fit the existing "hole in the wall" but there will be a slight gap around the grill. Is there available a collar like rim about 1" wide that will fill the gap?Technical Specs
