Great Purchase
Great Product. Very easy to install and very quiet operation. Highly reccomend for venting your attic. I've installed other brands but Broan makes quality products.

Quiet, installed with 72W speed control
Installed in a small 6' x 8' greenhouse. Had a local sheetmetal company modify the metal surround to fit the existing greenhouse roof vent for the small sum of $12.00 Because the greenhouse inlet was sized for about 550 CFM I also put the Boran 72W speed control in series with the Fan. The fan is quiet, the speed control working great, and were getting great tomatos already.

Broan makes the best attic fans
We have two fans on the back side of our roof, ventilating the attic. They've been there for 25 years. Periodically one of the motors will wear out, requiring replacement. When this first happened, I bought the least expensive roof fan mount I could find, removed the motor, fan, and mount, and replaced the bad components with the good from inside the attic. I then tossed the metal shroud and the hood.
I ended up trying several different models before I finally settled on Broan. The reason I chose Broan, is that it's relatively easy to change out, and most importantly it's quieter. The units I found locally were loud and created vibration down through the house's structure. The Broan models don't vibrate and at most have a low hum.
I also should note that buying the whole unit is cheaper and requires less effort than buying just the motor to replace the bad motor. If you have a situation like mine, and you're a DIYer, I recommend Broan for your replacement.
I also found that VetingDirect had the best price on the Broan 350, and they shipped the unit quickly.

Broan Powered Attic Ventilator Roof Mount #350
This is our second Broan Attic Ventilator Roof fan;
we never could use the first because our house had very few soffit vents. After the fan burned out many years ago I put in vents and this new fan has made a decided difference in the comfort level of our house during the heat of the summer. We set the fan to go on at 100 degrees F; the house is now habitable even without air conditioning. One of the best purchases that we have made. We also ordered the variable control switch and can operate the fan with this control, with the temperature on automatic, or manually. I cannot recommend this too enthusiastically.
