Easy Installation
The heater/light/fan unit works very well. I needed help with the installation, but it serves the purpose in the bathroom and it is quiet.

did not last one year
I was really happy with this until the heater burned out before it was even one year old. In the middle of winter of course when I needed it. I will try a different brand next time.

great replacement
replaced 30 year old 15amp broan. fit the hole perfect, no rewiring required and ordering online was cheaper than big box stores. could not find one locally that was only 15amp. they all wanted to sell the 20 amp which is an overload for the old house wiring. works great. quick delivery (2 days earlier than promised). got job done 2 days earlier than planned.

Can this unit be installed in a shower?
I wouldn't recommend it. This unit is not made for damp locations.
We have two Broan fans both installed when the house was built. The grill on the fan in our guest bathroom has turned yellow, and is seldom used. The grill on the fan in the master bathroom is still as white as the ceiling and used frequently. Any explanation?
I am unsure as to why this is happening to your fans, it may be something in the air but Broan's trouble shooting help line may have a better explanation and may even have a way to help prevent it as they have licensed installers for their products alone. They can be contacted at: 800-548-0790.
Does this have a night light in it?
The Broan 659 does not include a night light.
Can this be installed in a suspended ceiling?
The Broan 659 will be able to install in a ceiling provided there is room for the housing.
