As Advertised Except..
Works as advertised, except not enough room for a standard 60 watt light bulb. Had to use an appliance bulb.

Ms. Not Happy
This item is a replacement for an existing fan I had installed when my home was built. The original fan was great, the motor died. This new item is not even close to the previous one. It does not take half of the moisture out of the bathroom as the old one did. Don't buy it. Ms Unhappy

Needs modification
This unit installs relatively easily, but it has two flaws: 1) It won't take a 100w bulb like it's rated for, you'll need to monkey around with the shield. A 75w bulb barely fits. 2) The plastic lens is a very poor fit. It rattles and vibrates around, defeating the purpose of a 2.5 sone unit. Again, one can fix this problem without too much hassle, but it indicates that this is a poorly made product and makes me wonder how long it will last.
I might recomend it to my handy friends who know what they're getting and how to fix things.

Can I buy only light cover for model 678 ?
Broan does not have a part number for the grill, therefore you cannot order it seperately.
How do I change the light bulb?
The Broan 678 light cover is held in by clips on each side. If you take a flat head screwdriver carefully this should allow you to pop that cover right out.
