Where can I find a replacement cover for the light on my fan?

The replacement light cover for the Broan QT242 is Part # S97015294.

Is the duct work centered in the middle? or off set to the side?

The Broan QT242 is centered in the back. Please see spec sheet for further clarification

can i use this with no external vent to connect to?

The Broan QT242 will not work properly without the proper ducting. If you are unavailable to duct a hood you will need a recirculating unit.
