Energy Efficient solutions in traditional designs. A bath fan needn't call attention to itself, especially when you don't want it to overpower the design of your bath or powder room. More important, it shouldn't call attention to itself on your electric bill. So we developed the QTRE line for energy efficiency in the high-traffic bathroom, and for those who seek a fan with a more traditional design. It simply does its job quietly, in every sense of the word.
I have an 8.5" X 14.5" opening. What would you have that would do the job? I'm looking for CFM 100+ with sones less than 3, thanks.
A. The Broan QTRE110FLT housing is 10-1/2 by 11-3/8 and the grill is 12-3/8 by 14 inches. This is the biggest Broan goes that is quiet and has fan/light combo. They have 8-1/4 by 14-1/4 housing; however, the sones are 4.5, Model 696, which is a step down from this model.
I have a wall switch in the bathroom with 2 switches, 1 for the overhead light and another for the existing fan. Does the QTRE110FLT model turn on the fluorescent light with the fan? Is the night light always on or does it have a photocell?
A. The Broan QTRE110FLT has different switches availible to determine what functions 4 function switch 77DW, 77DV 3 funtion switch 66V, 66V The functions on the switch would work the night light.
Will this fan and light run with my single pole light switch or do I need to use the four function or three function switches?
A. You can either run the fan and light to one switch or you can run them separately. You can either use a two function or three function switch depending on the versatility level that you need.
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
