A. The Cadet RM202 is 2000 Watt at 240 Volts Fan Forced Electric In-Wall Heater Assembly Only from the Com-Pak Collection, and is about the sound of a hair dryer on low.
My new RM202 that replaced a 10+ years old RM202 is dramatically quieter. Should it be? (does that seem to be normal?)
A. I would say it's safe to say that it very well should be quieter in comparison to a ten year old model. Manufacturer's are constantly striving to improve their products, and noise reduction is a biggy. Enjoy the quiet!
Does this replace the z202 model?
A. Yes, the Cadet RM202 did replace the Z202 model.
The ad says 2000 WATTS, the specs say 1600 WATTS, so which is it? The unit I'm trying to replace is the RM 202 2000/1500 WATTS
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
