Ruined My finishI tried to use this to install 3/4 prefinished maple, and it would take the finish on at each nail / staple.
I had to stop after 3 boards.
I used a different nailer (with the same wood) and it (Bostitch MIII) worked fine.
I took it to a dealer to see if there was a solution, and they said that it's not really designed for pre-finished wood.
Not sure what to do with it now....

good nailer great priceI just got done laying 4oo sq ft of 21/4x3/4" oak flooring using this nailer and, was impressed. The gun worked well with no jambs except, for the one I caused. This was the first time laying floor for me and, this nailer made it easy. For the Do it your selfer, I would recommend it.

Floor NailerI installed 500 sqft of flooring without any problems. I was able to use bostitch L nails. This is an excellent product with a very affordable price.
I'm a DIY and this was a very good experience; another 400 sqft on another project in late summer. I have the right tool for the job!!!'

Nice ToolWe installed 700-800 square feet of Brazlin Walnut (which is one of the hardest woods out there) and the tool only jambed once (I pretty sure we hit a screw holding the sub floor). I believe tool was great value as it is very well contstructed. I was going to sell the tool after I used it but I think I'm going to hold on to it so that I have it in the future and for friends that want to use it.
