Casablanca brings the grand formality of the Beaux Arts period to today's homes with the Continental ceiling fan. This Damp-rated fans' faux alabaster light fixtures and botanical motif beautifully complement cast iron and aluminum outdoor furniture.

Very nice fan Really like our new fan. This heavy weight, well built, attractive, large fan fits so well on our new porch that it's almost like it was designed for us. Can the uplight and downlight be controlled independent of one another or does the one dimmer control both at the same time?

The up and down light cannot be controlled independently of one another.

Can this model be flush mounted?

Unfortunately, no. The Continental cannot be flush mounted. It requires the use of at least the 2 1/4" downrod and ball assembly for installation.

How long is the down rod that is included with the fan?

The Casablanca Continental has a 2-1/4" down-rod and ball assembly.

If needed, what color down rod should be ordered with this fan? What black is compatible with bullion black?

There is a bullion black down rod for the Casablanca Continental. They come in 6", 12", 18", 24", 30", and 36". The product id is going to be BL624 with the length you like on the end ie: BL62418 for an 18" black buillon down rod.

Thank you for your response. AI understand there is a wall mounted remote. Does it have too be connected to the same electrical wire as the fan? or can it be placed onto another wire cl;oser to my light switches.

The Casablanca Continental requires that the remote is hardwired into the same line as the fan.

The Casablanca Continental does not have a built in receiver and is not remote compatible.

Can this be flush mounted?

The Casablanca Continental cannot be installed as a flush mount but does include a 3" downrod.
