Does the additional downrod add to the existing 3" rod that comes with the fan? Or does it replace it?

The Casablanca PL-06 replaces the existing downrod.

Could this rod be used on a Hunter Fan

The Casablanca PL-06 is only designed for Casablanca but you would use a Hunter rod with Hunter fans.

Are there pin holes on both ends of the downrod?

The Casablanca PL-06 is threaded on one side with connection holes on the other. I hope that helps.

Is this down rod threaded on one end to screw into my ceiling fan?

I recently purchased a Hunter Sonora ceiling fan (model 21435) from you. However, the three inch downrod that comes with this model is not long enough. A six inch downrod would be a better fit. Would this one work? or do you have one that would do better? Thank you.

The Casablanca PL-06 would be the best matched option for it as Hunter and Casablanca can work together.

What is the diameter of this?

Casablanca PL-06 down rods are 3/4" in diameter.
