Great Look and functional I was looking for a fan with a special look and this definitely fit the bill. I installed it on the screen porch and it definitely provides a focal point and conversation starter. As for functional, it does the job, but was hoping it would move a bit more air that it does. It runs quiet, but with ever so slighter blade noise than other fans. Not surprising with the leaf pattern. Overall very pleased with the purchase. Might see about using a longer extension pole to see if it helps provide better air flow by dropping it down further from the ceiling. August 29, 2011
Saved a lot of money Purchased a repo home in Vegas and needed to match another outdoor fan. Bought fan and lighting assembly here and was very satisfied with price and delivery time. Would definelty buy here again. I give this an A+. April 21, 2011

Can this be flush mounted? If so how many inches will that save?

The Concord 52FEB5 cannot be flush mounted the down rod must be used with this fan.

Can you use a wall remote outdoors and if so does it come with the remote or is it an option which must be ordered separately?

Thank you for your question. The Concord 52FEB5 does not come with a remote. You could use the RM-08 handheld or wire in a wall control. can you use more than 13-watt light bulb with the recommended light kit?

The Concord 52FEB5 is designed for use with a 13 watt CFL bulb and should not be used with a bulb of a higher wattage.

What is the shortest downrod that can be used with this?
