152 CFM In-Line Dryer Booster Duct Fan for 4" Ducts from the DVK Collection
How well does your dryer perform? Most residential dryers are designed to vent approximately 15 feet of duct. With the introduction of main floor and second story laundry rooms, duct runs have become complex, often exceeding dryer manufacturers' recommendations. The results are longer drying times, greater wear and tear on the dryer and higher energy costs. DVK Dryer Booster Fans are designed to enhance the drying efficiency of residential, commercial and industrial dryers. DVK Fans feature quiet and efficient backward curved impellers that are capable of overcoming long runs, and an in-line configuration that simplifies installation. Unique design features result in a quiet and powerful solution that is unmatched in the industry. The pre-mounted pressure switch simplifies installation. Utilizing a pressure switch designed to activate the DVK100B dryer booster fan when dryer airflow is sensed, the pressure switch is pre-wired and factory mounted to the booster fan.
Continental Fan Company was established in 1986 to manufacture and distribute quality ventilation equipment. Their objectives then were simple… to provide superior products, dependable service, and competitive pricing. They remain unchanged today.

Continental Fan Manufacturing DVK100B-PM Reviews

Does what is saysThis fan worked great. I installed it in a home that has a dryer on the second floor. At one time the dryer was hooked to a plastic dryer vent hose. But was cut loose under the house. The total run of plastic dryer hose was about 50'. This was way to long for the dryer to push the air. I installed the blower where the duct came from the second floor to under the house. I then used 4" metal duct to run it to the outside wall about 30'. It worked great.

How does the pressure switch work? Manual says "Pressure Switch has a 10 minute integral time delay". Does that mean the fans starts, runs for 10 minutes, shut off and, if the dryer is still running, the fan starts up again. In other words, it sounds like the fan runs for 10 minute increments until the pressure switch no longer detects that the dryer is running. Is this correct?
A. The switch is an air pressure sensing switch with an integral 10 minute time delay. Cycle will reinitiate after 15 seconds if the dryer is still in operation. It is especially suitable for surface mounting in areas where internal access is limited.
