Function (Privacy):

Privacy style knobs and levers are used to secure the interior rooms of a home. Egg Style Privacy Door Knobset from the E Series 3.8 5 4 5

Great knob and low price April 23, 2011

Not as pictured - Has visible privacy locks I'm still trying to decide whether to keep these - The finish is okay for something that's not actually an old iron knob (especially considering the price!), but the locking mechanism really mars the proportions of the knobs on both sides. Since the picture shows a smooth face, I had expected a more hidden locking mechanism. My goal had been to find knobs that would blend into the decor of my 100+ year old Victorian house, and the locking mechanism sticks out like a sore thumb. The inside knob looks particularly strange to me, because the egg shaped handle is smaller than the eggs I have in my fridge, and the locking mechanism takes up a relatively large part of the knob. On the up side, Handlesets.com said they would give me a full refund and a prepaid shipping label if I decide to return them. That makes a big difference! December 6, 2010

Nice look, easy to install I purchased 6 of these and I am completely satisfied. They look nice, were super easy to install, and their weight feels durable - not cheap. Knobs are exactly as advertised. November 24, 2010

Very good knob I love the way this knob looks but wish it were a push button instead of having a button to turn on the inside. Push buttons are just so much easier to use and I'd rather have that on the bathroom and guestroom doors. Otherwise the knob is great. I ordered the passage version as well and those are perfect. I have knobs now that you can only turn one way to open the doors, my question is do these knobs turn both directions?

The Copper Creek EK2030 can turn both directions.

Does this set provide all the parts to do two doors?

The Copper Creek EK2030 will include the parts for one door. It will have the inside knob, outside knob and all the hardware in between. It will also include the mounting hardware and strike plate.
