Corner Cabinet

Corner kitchen cabinet space can be easily increased with these simple tips. You may consider corner organizers that fit your cabinets perfectly or consider a more affordable option like installing a lazy susan. Either option increases your space and helps you access the contents much easier.

Kitchen Corner Cabinet Ideas We Love

Need a few ideas on how to organize that odd-shaped corner in your kitchen cabinetry? Here are a few of our favorite products that will help you maximize your storage space.

Hafele Magic Corner

Product 1: Blind Corner Organizer System

This corner unit frames inside the blind corner, so when you open the cabinet door, you are able to swing out the different shelves to access all of your items. I love this organizer because it looks sleek, holds heavier pots and pans, and really lets you reach everything even in the very back. The champagne finish looks great for a more traditional look, while the silver finish would look great in a modern kitchen.

The champagne finish looks great with natural wood finished cabinets, while the silver finish looks great with painted cabinets, especially white or black cabinets. Either way, these organizers look great and keep you organized.

Hafele Magic Corner II Review:

Richard F from Cincinnati rated it 5 Stars. He says, "The Hafele Magic Corner II is a great product, ONCE you get it installed. The installation instructions are poor, and it took awhile to figure it all out. Caution: you had better install this before a counter top is in place, if not, you will have to be a contortionist to install it. I would not want to install it with a counter top in place!"

Product 2: Pivot and Slide Lazy Susan

I really like this corner unit for cabinets that are not as deep. The two half-moon shelves are great for increasing pantry space and smaller sized items. Each shelf can hold up to 38 pounds. Each shelf slides on a track and the unit is installed within the cabinet so that you do not have to worry about buying extra hinges, as you won't be attaching it to your cabinet doors.

The almond finish looks great and blends in better with a wood cabinet finish. If you have white or black cabinets, I would go with the white finish for a sleeker look. This style of corner cabinet organization is easier to install. There may be some work involved if your current cabinet already has a shelf.

Rev-a-Shelf Lazy Susan Set Review:

JShimota from San Jose rated it 5 stars. She says, "As mom got older getting into the old corner cabinet by the dishwasher, way in the back - basically became unusable space. This unit solved that! The installation was really simple - because it’s made to go left or right there is some trial and error with the templates but not too bad at all. One note - realize that the unit uses up a bit of space for the shelf height. Boxes that use to fit were now to tall. NOT a complaint, more an observation!"

Product 3: The Traditional Lazy Susan

Find what you want as quickly as possible with a lazy susan organizer. They make the most of your space, are relatively easy to install and work in both corner kitchen cabinets and other cabinet applications. You will no longer have to worry about having food or any other item being pushed to the back. With a simple turn of the lazy susan, everything becomes easily accessible.

I like this particular two-shelf lazy susan because it works great in more customized cabinets that have more unique shapes. My favorite use for lazy susans are for organizing my spices. I have so many that when I am in the moment of cooking and want that one spice really quickly, the lazy susan makes my life so much easier.
