can a motion sensor be used with this light?

The Craftmade Z270 cannot be placed on a motion sensor.

Can this light take one of the flickering light bulbs?

Thanks for your question. The Craftmade Z270 is designed only to be used with a 100w Medium base bulb; if a flickering version comes in a medium base, then it would work.
