This fixture installed easily - no surprises and really looks as pictured. It works with my decor, traditional with a modern flare, and adds a bit of whimsy. Many compliments received.

Can the fixture be hung lower or is it a fixed height piece (ceiling to base)?
The Crystorama Lighting Group 9225 has an 8" rod and also 120" of chain so yes, it can hang lower.
In the features, it says this is a "clear glass hanging ball". Where is the glass? Glass cannot be seen in any of the pictures.

Is there a chain that can be added to the fixed 8" rod and it can hang lower?
The Crystorama Lighting Group 9225 includes an 8 inch stem and 120" of chain which can be used separately, or in tandem with each other, your choice.
