Solid Faucet
Installed the faucet myself. Good instructions. Solid faucet, works well, looks good. Not sure why there are 2 valves on it but I guess if one of them leaks there is a backup.

nice design.
Have not hooked up water line to it yet, just installed it over the cook top. Somehow the plumber forgot to hook up the water line from the service are to the incoming line for the faucet. Probably be anothe rcouple of weeks before it gets done.

How far in from the center of a 30 inch stove is it so you can reach all the burners? Or do you measure the edge of the stove towards the center for placement?
The Danze D205040 will extend up to 22". A pot filler is typically intended to reach only 1 burner at the most, maybe 2.
How thick are the pipes-- I am trying to find out what the thickness of the unit is when it is folded up. How far would it stick out ? Thanks
The Danze D205040 first arm is 10-1/4", but when this is all folded up and pushed up again the wall, the faucet handle will be sticking out the furthest. That will reach 4-3/4".
Is there a way to hook up a water filter on the water delivery line to the pot filler?
The Danze D205040 is not capable of adding an in line water filter. Any filter would need be added below on the rough plumbing.

The Danze D205040 has a total height of 10.25" but it can be installed anywhere on the wall you choose. There is no measured distance from the floor required.

The Danze D205040 is 6-9/16" tall from the wall mount up. Do you have any further questions?
Where should this be mounted relative to the cooktop? Over it? Or beside it?
The Danze D205040 should be installed either next to or above the cooktop. This is completely preferential, but typically it's over the cooking surface as not to move a heavy pot of water after being filled.
For a new kitchen my plumber needs to know what is the height from the floor to mount on the wall so I have the right height for the arm to fill the pot
The Danze D205040 is 10.25" altogether and the spout and handle are 3 11/16" high and 6 9/16" high from the center of the mount on the wall. There is not required height from the floor for this item to be installed. Installation guides and specifications are available on the product page under Additional Information.
