13" S Shaped Shower Arm with Flange
Better Height, Better Angle
I installed this in a 3'x3' shower stall where the existing shower arm ended up at around 5' 9" for the shower head. I'm not that tall (5'10") but I have a volume control and diverter for a shower wand sprayer in my set-up. So these accessories added to the shower arm made the shower head way too low. Other shower arm extensions didn't give me the right angle for the shower head to spray down in the narrow confines of this 3'x3' shower. The Danze D481116 provided just the right height and angle for the shower head to spray down or away at my desire. There was no noticeable loss of water pressure either.

Finally Shower Arm with Height for Rain Showerhead
I recently refinished my entire bathroom. After my plumber installed the rain shower arm that came with the expensive Kohler rain shower system I bought three inches too low by accident (rain shower system's arms need higher height than normal height standards); we didn't realise this mistake until the new walls and tiles were installed on the wall! Too late to do over the plumbing! I bought 3 different arms that didn't work until I found this! It not only adds the height, but is also makes the rain showerhead's water flow straight down at a 90 degree angle. This was the only showerarm that solved the problem.

Shower Arm unique
The curves of this shower arm very nice. I will say the Danze oil rubbed bronze product are heavy duty and well made. Things to know, if switching out with existing shower fixture, it will be high..we lowered our supply line because the rain shower head would have been way up over the shower glass enclosure. Would have looked funny. My other complaint is too close to the wall...so when we stand under the rain shower head your back hits the shower handle. If the first piece came out for a few more inches then bent up would be much better.

Great Danze product!
I bought the Danze D481116 chrome shower arm for our guest bath, which really needed an extended arm with a high arch. The bathtub's original 8-inch shower arm was placed rather low on the wall, and it was impractical for anyone over 5 feet tall. I paired the new extended shower arm with a Danze hexagon-shaped chrome shower head, and the two look great together. It's now so much more pleasant to use this shower!

Wish I had known about this years ago
My wife and I are both relatively tall (around 6') and our years of leaning forward and bending our heads down to get under the shower head are over. We bought a rainfall-type shower head which would have been rather ridiculous with a normal mounting. This both raises the head and extends it from the wall, allowing us to stand under the deluge without having to snuggle up to the wall. Great purchase.

Needed a different shower arm
When I saw the picture, I thought this finally was the one I
wanted. It was. Ordered it, came on time, installed it
and use it every day. I am a happy camper now.
Raised the shower head to about 7 feet, just where I wanted
it. I am 6 feet and hate to duck to shower.
Price was right, item was as advertised.

I love this shower arm after years of backing up to the wall and bending over to wash my hair. The specifications were especially helpful to review before ordering so I was confident it would fit. It installed very easily and was shipped quickly. I look forward to my showers now!

The original shower arm in my apartment was far too low for my height. I'm happy to have found this offset shower arm. It would be perfect for my needs except that the ball on the end prevents me from attaching a shower filter.

THE SHOWER ARM IS PERFECT. IT RAISED THE SHOWER HEAD UP JUST ENOUGH, BUT NOT SO MUCH THAT THERE IS WATER EVERYWHERE.
EASY TO INSTALL. NO FUSS, NO MUSS AND THE PRICE WAS JUST RIGHT. WHY PAY BIG $$ WHEN YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE TO.

Best gadget ever
I was able to move my shower head up a foot without having to break into the wall. The whole project took 15 minutes, and the shower arm looks like it was part of the room from the beginning. I couldn't be happier.
