I have a square rain shower head, will this work?
A. The Danze D481116 uses a 1/2" connection. Most if not all shower heads have this size of connection. So as long as your shower head has a 1/2" width at the connection area then yes this item will fit.

The dimension are not specified on any of Danze's technical drawings, as it can slightly vary, their technical department estimated the distance from the wall to the first bend between 2 1/2" - 3". Some of the pipe may be concealed depending on how far back the source pipe is plumbed in the wall.
