tub spout I ordered the oil rubbed bronze to go with my other fixtures, but Danze's oil rubbed bronze is very pink-ish and more toward copper --not the darker, richer oil rubbed bronze of other brands. The spout itself is of good quality. Note that it is very long. May 21, 2011

High Quality Product This product was exactly what I was looking for. I neded an extra long spout and this one fit the application perfectly. It aso included a trim plate that made it fit the wall perfectly. I would definetly recommend this to anyone who needs an extra long tub spout. I have not found any cons to this product. If the product says "Fits 1/2" copper or 1/2" IPS stub out nipple", does the "Fits 1/2" copper" mean that it is slip fit for 1/2" copper? How long should the pipe extend out of the wall for this to work?

The Danze D606425 would work as a slip fit with copper or threaded pipe connections. Your existing pipe should extend out between 1 1/2" and 2"

My pipe extends out 1 inch will this spout work?

The Danze D606425 tub spout will thread onto the visible pipe and should work well with an inch exposed threaded pipe.

my pipe extends 4 inchs from wall. what type do I need?

The Danze D606425 is compatible, as long as the pipe is 1/2"

My IPS stub out nipple extends only 1/2'' out of the wall. Will this spout work? Can it be threaded flush to the wall?

The Danze D606425 is able to connect to a 1.5" - 2" threaded .5" pipe. Unfortunately a .5" extension is not sufficient.
