New style I actually fell in love with this sink when I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express - yes I know, "how tacky" that I should decorate my new bathroom to look like a hotel bathroom...but the sink was high enough that I did not have to bend over too far to wash my face and brush my teeth. I have a very bad back and bending that far hurts. This sink is wonderful. I don't have to stoop over a great deal, it's more like leaning forward. And, after all my life of below counter sinks and various shapes and sizes this one was pretty cool I thought. I also ordered a waterfall (sort of) faucet in brushed nickel. I don't remember what the Hotel had, I just remember the sink and now I have two of them in my master bath. Wahoo! I'm a happy little camper and so is my back now!!! May 30, 2011

Will this sink work with the Metal Speed Connect® pop-up drain that is included in the American Standard 7010.801 Green Tea Faucet?

A. The DecoLav 1417-8 should work just fine with that faucet.

would this sink work on a shallow 18" x 48" vanity w/ 19" x 49" granite countertop? Is there specification on how close/far it needs to be from the wall or edge of the counter?

A. We do have a specification sheet on here but it does not give the recommended space needed, if your counter top is 19" x 49" that should leave you 1-3/4" space in the front of the sink.

Could you recommend a pop up drain assembly that would fit this sink?

A. The DecoLav 9297 will be a pop up that will work for the 1417-8 sink.

Can this sink be hung from the wall, or does it need to sit on a vanity or counter top? Also, is it available with a one hole on center?

A. This sink must be mounted on the counter top, it is available as a single faucet hold under model number 1417-1
