Does this include everything my contractor needs to install? Or are there additional parts I need to order.
The Delta 144996 contains everything your contractor will need for installation. The rough in valve is included.
What is the difference between the BT144996 and this 144996 model? Also, what does the pressure balancing mixing valve do?
The T144996 is the trim only while the 144996 comes with your rough in valve included. The Pressure Balanced Rough in valve controls your temperature and your water pressure.
Do I need to buy the universal rough-in valve with this, or is it included? Just wanted to double check that it has everything I'll need.
The Delta 144996 includes the universal rough-in valve.
Does this come with a spout cover to hide where it meets the wall?
The Delta 144996 includes everything in the image. There is no flange to cover where the tub spout meets the wall.
Does this include the valve or is it just the trim?
The Delta 144996 comes with a Monitor 14 Series pressure balanced bath mixing valve with Scald-Guard
I have an old deltal 600 model will this fit
The Delta 144996 will not fit the 600 model. I suggest the RP54870.
Does the shower head swivel?
The Delta 144996 has a head that is adjustable.
I currently have a 1400 series Delta set. Will this trim kit work with the current "guts" I have? If not, do you have one in a bronze finish that you would recommend?
The Delta 144996 is a 14 monitor series so it should work with the valve for another 14 monitor series faucet.
