Eco Friendly: Through a number of technologies and innovations, Delta’s Eco Friendly faucets achieve the impossible: A faucet that feels like more water, while actually conserving water. There are many advantages to this beyond helping protect our nation’s water resources. First, Delta’s Eco Friendly faucets splash less; you won’t have to wipe your counters as much. Second, they use less hot water, preserving your hot water supply and reducing associated water-heating costs. Third, you will feel a little less guilty leaving the water running for longer periods.
Touch Clean: Only Delta offers faucets equipped with Touch Clean soft, rubber nubbins (spray holes) that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. This is particularly helpful for areas with hard water.

best all round choiceThis is a similar version to what we already had (originally installed 20yrs ago I believe.) The look is neat- not too tall that kids can pull at it and actually cause damage. The pullout works nicely but is not ALL THAT CONVENIENT. We don't use this feature much. We like it though because kids can pull on it and it won't break. It simply comes off. The handle has springiness to it that makes fine adjustment of the water temperature just a little bit tricky but we have got the hang of it now. Still we prefer the firm, not rubbery, feel of our old delta faucet. Faucet installation was clean, sturdy and fitted (one hole, stone countertops) It appears that there is no rubber or plastic gasket between countertop and faucet metal base. i.e. it's metal to stone- I guess it's OK but I would have prefered seeing an extra gasket there (none is provided however. (But this was the same on the old faucet and we never had any problems with that). After a few months- no leaks whatsoever. I like this model over many of the more expensive ones for its simplicity and elegance. Some of the more expensive ones actually look ugly. Chrome finish already has one ever so tiny scratch but really scratches on the finish don't look so bad if sink is aluminum. Overall, we are happy with it.

Switch wears out quickly. The switch that channels the water between spray and regular faucet wears out fairly quickly. You will know if it is wearing out when you have it switched to faucet and notice quite a bit of water is running out of the sprayer section. Being a maintenance man, I took it apart only to find it completely unserviceable! I was not happy with how short a life this thing had and now I have to replace it after owning and lightly using it for about 7 years. I do NOT recommend this product. I do like Delta overall, just not this piece of junk so buyer beware, you will be replacing this thing sooner than you think!

Excellent PurchaseCompletely satisfied with this Delta 472 and the additional cold filtered water faucet, Kohler 6665 and Delta soap dispenser that was purchased on the same order. Very pleased with the exceptional telephone help received from Teri, your sales associate. The order was processed in a very timely manner and received the same.
Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience.

horribleA contractor bought this and installed it before I saw it. It is very cheap looking and looks and feels like plastic. I am going to have him replace it. The button you push to change the spray does not work well. Very disappointed in this faucet. There were no pros to this faucet.

I need the aerator RP32529 (to the best of my ability to identify the unit) however these pictures make the look like the aerator is chrome and has threads. The piece I want to replace is grey plastic with no threads. There are no threads on the spout either. It appears to be an aerator that is inserted and held by friction. Can you advise how I attach this suggested aerator. Thanks, Craig
A. The Delta aerator RP32529 does have a chrome finish and is threaded for installation but is not threaded on the underside. Delta suggest replacing the entire Wand Assembly to avoid consumer installation of the aerator (it can be a bit difficult without the proper tools). The Wand Assembly can be found under Delta model number RP51499 (1.5 GPM) or RP44643 (2.2 GPM).
