Great Purchase!!
This Rain Showerhead is fabulous!!!! I absolutely love it! I went into a showroom, saw the showerhead (in a display shower with all sorts of shower heads installed) and the saleswoman started yelling at me asking why I would buy a rain shower head. She told me I wouldn't be able to wash the soap out of my hair. I went home, did more research and decided to buy this shower head anyway. Needless to say I didn't go back to that showroom, and decided to purchase online. The shower head was $70 cheaper through Faucets Direct, it was delivered within days in perfect order, and the water pressure is perfectly fine...more than strong enough to wash the soap out of my hair. Showering is now an "experience" instead of just something I do every day.

The Delta RP61058 is a straight pipe that is a ceiling mount.
Does this head swivel?
Yes, this shower head does have a pivot point at the base that will allow it to pivot.
what size water line to feed this system - how much pressure?
The Delta 57740 has a 1/2" ips fitting.
What valve trim and rough in valve do I need to purchase with this?
The Delta 57740 would go well with the T14086 trim and the R10000-UNBX valve. I hope this helps!
What's the difference between brilliance stainless and brushed nickel finishes? Would combining fixtures with both these finishes match?
The Brilliance for the Delta 57740 has a high gloss to it, while the brushed nickel has a dull look. You would notice the differences between the two if they were side by side.
Are there any plastic part visible on this shower?
The Delta 57740 does not have any plastic parts showing.

The Delta 57740 is designed for indoor use and the finish will not hold up in the outdoor elements.
