The Delta 58045 can be purchased with the tub spout and handle. That part number is 174939-I
The Delta 58045 is just the shower head with hand shower and attaches the your shower arm.
The Delta 144938-I includes the water control handle assembly.
Not all shower hoses are made of plastic. The reason for the plastic is it serves as a scald guard as the hot water wont heat plastic the way it does metal. It also makes the hose lighter for more pleasant extended periods of use.
You would not need a faucet, however to operate the Delta 58045, you would need a shower handle to operate the unit. Please see the Delta T13020, for a compatible shower handle.
The Delta 58045 comes with the wall mount shower arm.
This model does have a pause feature.
The Delta 58045 is going to have the braided stainless hosing.
The only trim & showerhead combos offered with a tub spout are the Delta 144938-I or the Delta 174939-I. Your only other options is to purchase the tub trim & showerhead separately.
The Delta 58045 does have a Pause function and will still give you over 2 gallons per minute at 50 PSI. The diverter valve on the side of the shower head will allow you to choose between hand shower and shower, only hand shower, or only shower head.
The Delta 58045 from the In2ition Collection is made out of metal and comes in either of the following finishes: Brilliance Stainless, Chrome, or Venetian Bronze.
The Delta 58045 is offered on Brilliance Stainless, Chrome and Venetian Bronze.
Yes, the side diverter on the unit will let you choose what function you would like to use, or both at the same time.
The Delta 58045 does not have a matching trim piece and valve in this particular collection. Your valve is specific to the trim piece you select. If you stick with the same manufacturer and finish then the pieces will match. Once you choose your trim piece and add to cart it should prompt you the correct valve for that unit. If you need any help trying to find parts, let me know. Here is our link to our Delta trim pieces. http://www.faucetdirect.com/index.cfm?f2=stainless%20steel&page=search:browse&shower-valve-trim-only=c111&categoryid=111&F9=delta.
The Delta 58045 has a fitting that encases the showerhead that provides for easy access and hanging. It is almost as if it "snaps" in.
The flow will be sufficient but you may not get the full 2.5GPM out of both heads at once.
The Delta 58045 is made of both plastic and metal.
The Delta 58045 is going to be a braided metal.
The Delta 58045 is plastic as a scald guard, there are no temperature control modifiers build into this shower unit, the temperature should be controlled by your handle trim and valve.
The Delta 58045 should have a switch on the handheld to adjust this.
The Delta 58045 does not include the control for temperature or pressure of this shower.
The Delta 58045 in Venetian Bronze holds up well with hard water. Delta has a lifetime warranty on all their finishes as well.
It does have a swivel so the unit can be pivoted.
The Delta 58045 Venetian Bronze finish is very Similar to the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish with a rich dark color and both have bronze accents on the edges.
The Delta 58045 is not recommended to be installed on a shower arm that comes straight out of the ceiling.
With both the showerhead and handshower operating, the flow rate is 5 gpm.
The design is the only difference.
The Delta 58045 will be splitting 5 gpm between the 2 devices, so each item will be at about 2.5 gpm.
The Delta 58045 is just the shower head portion including the hand shower.
It can be combined with any Delta venetian bronze shower arm and valve trim that you choose.
You will need to buy them separately, Delta RP40593 and Delta RP38452 are two examples.
The Delta 58045 has a 69" hose.
The Delta 58045 can work with any trim and the valve will be one of the multi choice valves. The T17038 and the R10000-UNBX would work.
Thanks for your inquiry. Delta has only produced the Delta RP61273 and the Delta RP46870 shower arms in Champagne Bronze.
The Delta 58045 is made up of both metal and plastic, and I'm sorry if the previous answers proved confusing. The shower arm and flange are metal and the head, wand and hose are plastic.
The Delta 58045 would go well with the Delta T14038 Trim.
This model acts like it's own shower and will need to attach to a shower arm (just like a normal shower head). You can detach the hand held, but there is no use for a slide bar.
The small lever on the bottom of the hand shower will control the spray settings.
The Delta RP31554 Shower Arm and Flange.
The Delta 58045 does not come with the shower arm and flange.
Yes, in order to use The Delta 58045 as your only shower unit you would need to purchase a shower arm and flange as well as a volume control and rough in valve.
The Delta 58045 shower head is 6-1/8" inches wide.
The Delta 58045 shower head itself is 6-1/8" wide.
The Delta 58045 does allow you to turn off the handshower.
The Delta 58045 would be turned on/off by the pressure balance valve or if you have a diverter installed to switch from the shower head to the hand shower.

To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
