Happy Customer Excellent function, easy switch between spray and stream, secure hold in home position. Easy installation. If you have any problems at all, it will be with your existing plumbing, so check your shut off valves for hard water scale, etc., and be prepared. September 4, 2011

Beautiful Worker We bought this faucet for a kitchen remodel. It is sleek, practical, works wonderfully. It is large, however looks great even with a smaller sink. Our sink cabinet is 19"; we exchanged our oblong sink for a 17"W x 19"D D-sink. This faucet sits in the upper right corner of the counter. Despite having a lowish window (approx 10" above sink), the faucet neck extends above the sill, it still looks great. The quality is superb: no leaks, ease of use, the neck turns any direction. We are able to fill our Keurig coffee machine that sits on the counter over a foot away, by simply swiveling the neck and pulling out the hose. Super piece of kitchen equipment. June 12, 2011

LOVE IT!! This is the best purchase ever. We recently renovated our kitchen and I was told by professionals to get a faucet that pulls down and not out. Boy were they right. Wonderful- The Best I purchased this faucet over a month ago, when we were about to put new counter tops on. I must say it is over and above my expectations, it fit perfectly and works beautifully. It came almost assembled,(just a couple pieces to assemble) which was easy to do. My wife & I have really enjoyed using it! Classy, Elegant, Simple yet multi-purpose all in one beautiful unit. I HAVE A SINGLE HOLE GRANITE SINK TOP.DO'S THE 989DST WORK WITHOUT THE PLATE? LIKE A RING THAT GO'S AT THE BOTTOM?

A. The escutcheon plate is an optional item you can purchase if needed. based on your description you would just buy the 989-DST and you should be good to go minus the plumber to install it.

Does this product have the Brilliance Stainless finish? I can't tell from the descripton.

A. The Delta 989-DST comes in Chrome and Stainless. On our site please note that Delta Stainless and Brilliance Stainless are one and the same. All of their Stainless Faucets are now the Brilliance Stainless finish.

A. The Delta SS DST is the stainless steel model of the 989-DST Faucet. The only difference is the Finish.

Does this faucet have a ceramic disc? How long is sale on?

A. Thank you for your question. One of the main features of the Delta 989-DST is the Diamon Sealed Technology (DST). Delta uses a diamond coated ceramic disc that prevents leaks and mineral build up that accumulates over time. And to answer your other question, the current sale for Delta is saving 37% as shown on the site. Unfortunately I am unsure about the longevity of the sale. Hope this helps.

We are comparing the grohe 33 870 nickel finish with the delta 989 dst stainless finish which finish hides fingerprints better?

A. Both the Grohe and the Delta faucet in nickel will hide finger prints. The Grohe faucet however will have a higher quality finish as well as give you more years of service. One distinguishing factor is that the Grohe has solid metal internal components, whereas the Delta faucet is comprised of Plastic and Composite materials.

Am trying to decide between the Allora 989-DST and the Delta 19922-SD-DST. I was ready to order the Allora based on the number of glowing reviews, but the Ashton has several features including the spout height that we would like. There are few differences in the specs. Why is the Allora priced at $100 more? Is it build quality? I would prefer the Ashton if I was assured that the quality was the same. Thanks

A. Other than the technical specs being different the Delta 989-DST & the Delta 19922-SD-DST are really similar, will function the same, & will be of the same quality. In Delta's view the Allora is more attractive & streamlined as far as design goes & the price for it is increased as a result. Hope this helps!
