The Delta BT14296 would require one of the R10000 rough in valves. Most commonly used is R10000-UNBX.

Very, very good product
Although this is was my first purchase with Faucet Direct.com, it is the 2nd time I have bought this
exact same product for my continuing home remodel. I love this shower control/head. I've got 2 more shower/tubs to remodel and I'll buy this same

great value
As with every other review from this site...wow. super fast shipping! bought tues or weds with super saver shipping, it arrived friday, like as in 2 or 3 days later. Was looking for a low price set that included a roman tub faucet. This product comes through. Very affordable, feels strong...looks great. Everything matches nicely. Wife was happy too, *she's picky*, can't wait to install. fyi, stay away from bargain brands like aquasource and glacial bay. This product is a great alternative to price, but with better quality. bought stainless *matches well with brush nickel*. Only problem or issue is that the handle seems small, but matches nicely with rest of set. Don't forget to buy the R.I.

Very Happy
The look of this product completely met my expectations. I am very happy with how it looks in my shower. I wish there was a little more water pressure from the shower head (I had more with just a basic one) but this one is not bad and I would recommend it.

Beautiful but...
The shower is very loud, much louder than my old showerhead. I have no idea how to fix that and I'm sure when I get used to it, I'll wonder why I thought it was a problem.

My shower has two shower heads and I have installed two Delta BT14296. Can I replace one with a hand held shower bar? Is there a Windemere model in the same oil rubbed finish? I would leave in the same water control, just replace the shower head part. Thank you.
The Delta BT14296 can have the shower head removed and a handheld added in its place. Windemere doesn't have a handheld but the 57014 could work. You will also need a 50560 wall supply elbow to hook up the hose.
Can I install this showerhead and valve and also install a hand held shower on a slidebar? What other items would I need? Valves, diverters??
You can install all of those items but you will need to install a diverter valve and diverter trim along with a wall supply elbow.
Do you make an elbow to add to the height of this shower head?
The Delta BT14296 Monitor® 14 Series is Shower Trim from the Foundations Windemere Collection. The Delta 50560-NN is a Traditional Wall Supply Elbow With 1/2" Connection.
Is Delta Lahara , available in shower only ?
The Delta T14238 is a shower only version of the Lahara collection.

The Delta BT14296 is a single function shower head but the angle can be adjusted.
Does the BT14296 come with a universal T/S valve body?
The Delta BT14296 does not come with the rough-in valve. Everything else is included.
Does this have a regular water stream or is this more of a rainhead type showerhead?
The Delta BT14296 has a rain shower head.
Can the showerhead on this be changed once it has been completely installed?
Yeah no problem, most shower heads have a standard 1/2" connection so you can mix shower heads to shower arms.
do any of your shower systems come with a single handle that controls both the temperature and the flow?
The Delta BT14296 does not come with that control. The 17 monitor series have a double handle on a single column. The Delta T17478 is an example.
