About Delta:
Delta is more than just a brand of kitchen and bathroom faucets. It’s a name that represents what’s possible in today’s plumbing technologies. Every kitchen and bathroom in every home is unique, and with a wide range of pricing and features, Delta faucets and fixtures can meet every need.
Delta is driven by its quest for innovation—and this applies to its kitchen and bathroom faucets and fixtures. From Touch2O technology (which turns the faucet on and off with just a touch) and MagnaTite technology (which eliminates droopy pull-down spray heads), to H2Okinetic showers (for a warmer and more luxurious shower experience), your life is simplified through innovations. And if you’re searching for a product to offer an eye-catching focal point, while providing durability and reliability for a lifetime, look no further than Delta.
From extremely affordable and reliable faucets to fully loaded fixtures featuring today’s leading technologies, Delta has a faucet for everyone.

The Delta T17238 is differs from T17278 by the handle style, everything else is the same.
The Delta T17238 does have a pivot head and uses the R10000 rough-in, which is a balance valve and will keep the temperature the same despite a surge.
Typically the flowrate for any product is 2.5 gpm. With this product you can adjust that down with the volume control.
No, the Delta Brilliance Stainless Steel is the same as the Delta Stainless Steel.
I would recommend the 57713 or 57513. The T-diverter would be the 50650.
The Delta T17238 is actually not a jetted system. In this particular case, the term "jetted" refers to the T17T238, which is a thermostatic valve trim that allows for control of the temperature and volume independently, whereas the the T17238 is pressure balanced, meaning it only controls the temperature and the volume is constantly open full.

The Delta T17238 does not come with the valve. You need to purchase the Delta R10000-UNBX.
The Delta T17238 is the shower trim and T17T238 is a jetted shower trim.
The Delta T17238 has a shower arm that is 5.5" in length.
The Delta T17238 will screw right on to the shower head, and work just fine!
The Delta T17238 can work with the 55013 with the Delta 50650 diverter arm. That will attach right to shower arm.
The Delta T17238 and T17438 are exactly the same except for the tub spout/diverter on the T17438.
Any standard shower head will have a maximum flow rate of 2.5 GPM, for a higher flow you will have to look at a rain shower style head like the Rohl U.5206.

Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
