Good Quality This handle set is well built with quality materials and easy to install, a template for hole and screw placement would have been a nice feature acurate easy to follow installation instructions are included June 9, 2011

Hard to Find This was the only place I could find the replacement door handle. As for the product, well it worked after I used a part (spring) from the old mechanism. I wasn't thrilled but because I had the old handle, wasn't dissatisfied. It works much better now with the new/mixed parts. November 12, 2010

Is this okay to use outside?

Yes, you can use this product outside.

What is diameter of hole needed to drill for the mortise?

The Deltana SDL980 requires a 5/8" diameter by 2 3/8" deep hole for the bolt or mortise.

What is the diameter of the hole drilled through the door for the handle?

The Deltana SDL980 requires a 5/8" hole drilled 1-3/4 from the door edge for the handle.

What is the dimension for the backset?

The Deltana SDL980 has a 1-3/4" backset.

Can this be used for either right or left hand door swing?

The handing on the Deltana SDL980 is reversible.

Do you have a 1 3/4 backset for a 1 3/4 thick door in a Passage Lock Set ?

Is this the exact same product as the Ives 980B, but just labeled differently? If not, what's the difference?

The Deltana SDL980 has a longer handle, as well as the lever that comes out further on the Deltana model. The styles also differ slightly.

The Rose Diameter of the Deltana SDL980 is 1-7/8".

Is a coordinating strike plate inclueded when you order the storm door latch?
