A. The Designers Fountain PH218Sdoes have a disable feature. If you toggle the wall-switch off and on quickly twice, it will disable the motion detecting for eight hours after which time it will reset.

A. There are very similar lights for sale that do NOT have a motion detector. These lights will stay on whenever the power is ON. You might consider the Designers fountian 2994 (bk or wh), Q102s, or the Yosemite HE3002.

We are trying to put 4 of these lights on 1 side of the house, operated by 1 switch. Is that possible?

A. The Designers Fountain PH218S can be all on the same switch, it is all about how they are wired. You will want to talk to an electrician to see what needs to be done for your personal electrical wiring.

Does it have to be used with a switch?

A. The Designers Fountain PH218S is a motion detection light. When the power is on to the light the light will engage(turn on) when it detects motion. If you use a switch you can turn the light off (such as in the day time) but you can install the light on a continuous current (without a switch) if you wish.

A. The Designers Fountain PH218S uses 2 100w quartz halogen bulbs, but any wattage below listed can be used. It is not recommended to exceed the maximum wattage.
