Great ToolI had serveral drills already so didn't need this one, but the price was less than I had seen it anywhere else. The 20V Max drill and driver are now my new "go to" drills. I used to use a 18V (full size) Dewalt but they now seem HEAVY. Then I purchased a 12v compact Dewalt drill and driver. I like those drills, but they don't always have enough power. Plus the drill only holds bits with the 1/4 inch drive so I often didn't have a drill bit I could use. The 20V is the best of both worlds. They're light so I can use them all day without having my arms get worn out, but they have plenty of torque to handle just about any job. Also, the batteries recharge quickly so I haven't had any downtime waiting for a battery to recharge. The drill also has a regular chuck so I can use any drill bit. Unlike the the 12V, the 20V also came in a hard sided case (one case holds both drill and driver, plus the charger. Much better than the soft sided bag that came with the 12V drill/driver.

Decent combo setI bought this drill and driver set partly because it was very reasonably priced, and partly because of the size. It is a very light drill which makes it easy to maneuver when working in tight spaces or underneath cabinets. The gear case seems a little cheap though. The new lithium batteries seem to hold a charge for a long time which is great. All in all for the discounted price it was worth it.

Does this drill have the Rohm chuck (has a "hexagon" (nut) on the front of the chuck) or the Jacobs chuck?
A. The DeWalt DCK280C2 uses the Rohm 1/4 hex chuck for 1 inch bits.
