27" Ventura Outdoor Radiant Heater with Ceramic Elements

Using long-wave infra-red technology, the new Ventura Radiant Heater uses ceramic elements that radiate heat with no distracting light output. Perfect where durable, focused heat is required, the Ventura warms like the sun, heating the objects in front of it rather than the air - making it the perfect "people heater". Is this unit direct wired or does it plug in? What type out circuit does it require (i.e. 20 amp dedicated)?

The CXD2000H & CXD2000V are designed for use on a 230-240V AC single phase supply. An all-pole isolating switch with a minimum separation of 3mm in each pole must be fitted to facilitate isolation. This switch must either be positioned inside a building or have an IP rating against water ingress suitable for external installation.The appliance must be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthing contact.

What clearance to combustibles (wood ceiling) is required?

This unit needs to be 72" from ground level and needs a minimum allowance of 19" between the top, sides and horizontal surface, a flush mount is not available however the adjustable mounting bracket is included in shipment.
