Can this be mounted vertically?

The Dolan Designs 3433 can be mounted up or down, but not sideways.

Our mounting hold allows 2 horizontal screw holes which are 2 3/4" apart. Looks like this fixture has vertical screws. How would I mount this?

The Dolan Designs 3433 is designed to mount to a standard J-Box, there is a plate behind this plate which mounts to the exposed canopy.

What is the height of the glass shades on this lamp? I need to be sure that 100-watt equivalent CF light bulbs will be covered and not extend above the shades.

The Dolan Designs 3433 rough estimate of height from socket to top of the glass is 3.75" The height of the glass alone is 5".
