Shower System This is a great lookin product and was easy to install and works great once I got everything working. If I was not handy I would have had to return the whole thing and hope I got one that worked after that. While the product looks fantastic in the pictures I have to say i looks great in real life too. The problems that i had were that much of the "behind the scenes" hardware is cheap plastic and one of the body sprays was obviously over tightened at the factory and cracked. The good news is that the faucets direct customer service people were excellent and really got the problem resolved quickly and with very little work on my part...Thank You! If you need directions to hook this up I would get a plumber because there are none! After it is up, the showers are incredible!!! September 6, 2011

A. Multiple functions of the DreamLine SHCM-2578 Quad-Handle Shower Column can be ran with the use of a booster pump.

Can this unit be retrofitted easily to a bath shower having one mixing valve?

A. The Dreamline SHCM-2578 model will use all surface mounted valves and you will only need exposed, incoming hot and cold water lines to complete installation.

How long is the flexible hose for the handheld showerhead?

A. The DreamLine SHCM-2578 comes with a 48 inch shower hose.

Can I install on glass panel inside shower? Where is distributor in NC (27023)

A. DreamLine SHCM-2578 is not recommended to be installed on the glass panel. It requires water lines to be connected to the back of it which is normally piped through the wall

Are all parts metal, or are some plastic?

Can this be used with tub filler or does it replace the tub filler completely?

A. The DreamLine SHCM-2578 hooks into your hot and cold line and I dont believe can have a tub filler installed with it unless it was running on its own water line. Dreamline SHCM-2358-00 is a shower panel that has a built in tub spout.

How far out does the water spray out of the body sprays in inches?

A. The distance the body sprays can spray water for the DreamLine SHCM-2578 is determined by the water pressure of your home and would vary from house to house.
