Very Satisfied
I have had this shower panel for about 5 months, and I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. I had it professionally installed, and my plumber commented on how nice the quality was. The water pressure is great. I would recommend you definitely pay attention to how high or low it is installed so the body sprays hit the right places. This unit replaced a system I used to have that was built into the wall, and I have to say I am as happy with this panel as I was with that system.

great product
I read the previous reviews before purchasing and I am very pleased with my purchase. I was careful to place the unit at my desired height for the body sprays. The unit comes with two brackets now, upper and lower. It is very secure on the wall. I get great pressure and very hot water even with all three functions turned on. The shower unit, once in a while, will spurt some water from the overhead spout even with all the valves in the closed position. Some water must get trapped in the system and then releases. It is a slight annoyance rather than a complaint, as it does it so infrequently. I would purchase this item again.

Great Shower Panel.
Before I start, I wanted to respond to JARS's review, in which they state that the shower lacks the heat required to get the job done. It doesn't. This shower will get extremely hot, however it has a European style safety button on the mix valve control that needs to be depressed to turn it to the left past the 100* mark. I must admit that drove me nuts as well until I realized that depressing that made all the difference. Now my showers turn my skin red, just the way I like it.
Now as for water pressure. I'm at the very end of the line for the city water in my town. I border two others. Furthermore, the lines for this run all the way across my house through a new Viega Pex Manifold. Pressure is a non issue for me. When running the horizontal sprayers along with the rain shower, I still have so much water pressure coming out that it almost stings.
All in all, I had some concerns after reading some of the reviews here, but am totally satisfied with this product. It's fairly easy to install with the right tools and the included water lines attach right to half inch nipples with no issues. I will likely purchase another one for my summer home.

great but needs good pressure
We fitted this product on a large yacht. It worked fantastically all the time except when water pressure was somewhat low (dock supplied pressure). However it was still useable but not to the standard required by most people and certainly not on a Yacht.
When the pressure was good, it was amazing!!! So many guests commented on the shower and people would fight over using that cabin, just for the shower.

Great Shower
I purchased and installed this shower system, it works fantastic. The only downside that I would have is the brackets to hold the shower against the wall are a bit flimsy. Once it is installed it seems to be fine to hold the unit in place. The shower itself does an amazing job of controlling the temperature and the body spray feature is awesome for rinsing off. I would purchase this again.

Very Good Product
I have owned this product for over one year. I picked it because it had the features I wanted in the price range I was looking at. Although I would like the six jets to be stronger, for this price range it does a good job. The shower head is large and puts out a lot of water. The hand shower is great because it make cleaning the shower area (and the pets) super easy, but I don't think this particular hand shower is better or worse than others out there. It is nice that it has several spray options though. The key reason I picked this model is because you can choose to have the jets, shower head and hand shower going at the same time. That was not easy to find in this price range, or even in some of the more expensive models. Of course the water pressure diminishes when more than one is going, but the pressure is still pretty good.
When mounting the shower adjust the height according to where you want the jets to hit your body. I wish we had paid a little more attention when mounting due to where they hit me. The jets can be adjusted some, but be sure to make height placement a high priority when installing.
The one thing that I don't like is I can't really get it as hot as I like. I like very hot showers and when you turn the temperature up it feels good for about 3 seconds and then it seems to reduce the temperature by several degrees. I believe this has something to do with thermostatic control, but I dont really know. Again, I like VERY hot water; do not think this product doesn't get hot (it does), it just doesn't do what I want it to do as well as our other shower faucet.
After over a year of use I am very pleased with the DreamLine SHCM-2718-00 Showerpanel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for one of the less expensive models of shower panels.
