Perfect for wine cellar
I bought these for a small wine cellar I was building, they work better than I expected, being able to swivel the lights when I need a little extra was a nice bonus. They look great, work perfectly and add just the right amount of light for my small wine cellar.

How many hours of use are these rated for? Is there a warranty? How many feet of countertop does 1 fixture cover?
The Elco E342 is uses light emitting diodes which are not lights. They will, in theory, last forever. The fixture itself would deteriorate before the diode does. There is a standard warranty, 90 days, from Elco.
How many lumens does each light produce? 12v or 120v powered?
The Elco E342 is low voltage and should produce aprox 1000 lumens.
Is a housing required for these?
The Elco E342 has housing included with it. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I'm happy to help.
Is this hard wired, or is there a plug in power supply for an existing outlet?

The Elco E342 is only available in Nickel.
are these dimmable? and how many can you string together on one driver?
The Elco E342 is not able to dim and the driver can string together 3 as the driver can only take up to 9 watts.
How do you get the light bulb out of the socket
This is a LED puck light, the actual bulb does not come out. When replacing a burned out bulb the housing comes with the replacement bulb.
The cutout is 2.5" in diameter. How deep would the cutout have to be?
The Elco E342 needs to be 2.04" deep
Does this kit include the transformer?
The Elco E342 comes with the LED driver you would need to operate the fixtures.
How many lights can be aded together.
The driver that is included is able to handle the three lights in the kit and nothing more.

The Elco E342 comes with 3 bulbs, and each of these bulbs is rated at 150 lumens a piece. They operate at 12v

The Elco E342 has a soft, natural white light.
I have nine separate under counter electrical feeds in my kitchen. Can I use separate puck fixtures or so I have to connect them and use a transformer?
Each Elco E342 Mini LED Recessed Undercabinet Light Kit includes 1 LED driver (transformer) to provide appropriate voltage to all 3 of the included lights. For every 3 lights you wish to install, you will need to use 1 transformer (the provided LED driver).
Are these compatible with a standard dimmer?

How much clearance is needed (height)? Is the driver attached to the housing, or separate? Can a 4th light be purchased and hooked to the driver? Thanks.
The Elco E342 is a direct contact fixture and does not have a clearance. The driver is remote and is only meant to run 9 watts which covers the 3 included lights. Thank you for your question.

would these lights be suitable for use in a sauna?
The Elco E342 is not suitable for a sauna.
I have 11cabinets with glass doors at the top and I want to illuminate them from the top, can these be connected, one set to another? And, how far apart can each light be? I notice these are not dimmable. Do you have anything for this type of installation in LED that can be dimmed?
These lights cannot be connected one set to another. Each set must be connected to it's own driver. There is also, unfortunately, not a version of this light with the ability to be dimmed.
Can this be installed in a ceiling?

Yes, the Elco E342 is a hardwired installation.
What is the difference between the Elco E326 and Elco E342?
The Elco E342 uses white LED bulbs and 3w bulbs, whereas the E326 uses Jc20 20w halogen bulbs.
Would these lights work for applying makeup?
The Elco E342 lights are meant for undercabinet installation in kitchens. They are not meant to be used for makeup or restroom applications.
Can these be used with a dimmer?
No, the Elco E342 should not be used with a dimmer.
