What is the recommended housing type for a first floor and a flat ceiling?

Does this light require additional housing?

The Elco EL12 does require housing, this is just the trim.

Is the Bronze EL12 made of metal?

The Elco EL12 is made out of metal except the white Lexan Ring which is made of a material better than plastic and is only available in white, the rest are all metal.

Is the Bronze Trim EL12BZ made of Metal or is it a Plastic, Colored to Look like Bronze Metal?

The opening is 7" Wil the EL 12 work? If not, do you have something that will work? I am looking for oil rubbed bronze trim.

The Elco EL12 will work just fine if your opening is 7". The outside diameter is 8" on the trim of this fixture and the light itself is 6" across so it would work just fine.

What type of clips are used to attach to the house?

The Elco EL 12 uses wire prongs to attach to the house.

How do I change the bulb?
