Can you by glass shades without having to buy the fixture as well?
Yes the glass can be purchased separately. The model number is just glass after the fixture you may need to call in and get assistance with this order.

Mini Pendant from the Milan Collection

Not very bright
I bought these to flank a guest bathroom mirror (on each side). Unfortunately, I didn't read the description close enough to see that these are "down lighting". As such, they're just not very bright. They certainly look nice (I got the Espresso color), and do provide some lovely ambiance in the bathroom when we have guests over, but there's no way you could actually use the mirror without turning on some additional lights, which thankfully, I have.

Small but beautiful
Very stylish. Great with dimmers. But small. 60 watt candleabra bulbs produce some light but not as much as a 60 watt incandenscent.
I originally ordered 3 but need 2 more for my bar

how is the cover removed to replace the bulbs?
The entire shade unscrews from the pendant. The bulb is attached to the base portion which is the silver portion of the pendant.
How low do you hang pendant over bar in the kitchen?

The Elk Lighting 110-1 is beautiful, but really doesn't give off that much light. You would need additional lighting around the space.
