Knightsbridge 5 Blade 52" Ceiling Fan - Blades, Handheld Remote Control and Light Kit Included 4.7 5 3 3

Best one ever. It took me a month to find this fan.Needed to be for outdoors, have a light and a remote control. My contractor said it's the nicest one he has seen and I agree with him. It's been in about two weeks now and we us it most every day. The light is very large and it glows against the ceiling. I need the 3 foot rod and they sent it right away. Customer service is excellent. October 6, 2011

Outdoor Ceiling Fan I have inspected the fan but have not installed it. The fan seems to be well constructed and has good detailing on the base of the fan as well as the light kit. I was not impressed with the fan blades as they are plastic with little to no detailing or definition. I suppose the plastic is a trade off for using a material that will not absorb moisture. Otherwise, it's a very nice fan. July 31, 2011

Good quality purchase It is exactly as on the picture. Good quality finish and runs really well. Doesn't even move a bit even when the fan is at full speed so very well calibrated fan. Very easy to install. Good quality for low price compared to fans in stores. April 22, 2011

Our porch with a very high ceiling only has one wire (not separate wiring for both a light and fan). Is the remote designed to interact with a sensor on the fan or the wall? Thanks. This looks like a great fan, and we'd like to buy it.

We like this fan and think it will perfectly in the center of an outdoor arbor we are soon constructing. My concern is you mention is good for "damp" locations but not wet locations, I assume this fan in our intended location will receive some indirect rain during the winter months (northern California climate), will this work or should we focus on another Ellington Outdoor fan?

A. The Ellington Fans KM52ABZ5LKRC is UL listed for Damp locations, like an outdoor patio, but is not recommend to be outside in a place where it will be exposed enough the to get wet by the rain.
