Which light kit is recommended for damp locations?
A. The Emerson CF742 can work with a couple different light kits. The models are CFSLKPF, LK31, LK36, LK40 and LK46.
Can this be used in a wet area?
A. The Emerson CF742 is UL listed to be used in a wet location.
Can this be used on a 6/12 sloped ceiling?
A. The Emerson CF742 can be installed on a ceiling up to 26 degrees, so yes it can.
Is this fan available with a remote, or wall mount control?
A. The Emerson CF742 can be used with the Emerson SR100 remote.
So with the 2 1/2" close to ceiling downrod option, what would be the height of the fan from ceiling to obttom of housing?
A. The height is 11" with the 2.5" downrod.
Can this fan be mounted low profile with an adaptor?
A. The Emerson CF742 can only be mounted as a semi flush which is similar to the low profile.
What is the diameter of the ceiling cover or canopy. Can it be mounted on a 6" beam.
A. The Emerson CF742 has a canopy diameter of 5 1/4" and 2" deep.
Can this ceiling fan be installed on a sloped ceiling?
A. The Emerson CF742 ceiling fan can mount to a sloped ceiling up to 26 degrees. If it is a steeper slope than that, you will need the Emerson CFSCK sloped ceiling kit.
