Can this adapter be used with pendant lighting?

The Emerson CFSCK is for ceiling fans only.

Can the Emerson CFSCK adaptor be used with the Minka Lavery ML 176?

The ML176 can be installed on a sloped ceiling up to 15 degrees. Minka does not recommend using an adapter with the pendant.
