Good solid handle. We needed a good handle that could stand up to a lot of use. This looks as if it will last. This is the best pocket door handle we have purchased so far. June 27, 2011

Very nice product August 27, 2010

Very Disappointed Purchased this Emtec lock for a bathroom pocket door. I wanted to have the option to lock the door. The arm that is suppose to reach out to grab striker plate was to short didn't even reach outside the lock assembly. Poor Manufacturing Handlesets requires that I UPS the product back and then told me that it would be faster if I just ordered a new lock assembly. The problem I must pay to return the lock and then pay for shipping to get the new lock an additional $14 for a $30 lock??? November 24, 2008

Pocket Door Locks I had bought pocket door locks for our new bathroom from the local home improvement store but they turned out to be cheaply made. i looked for sturdier locks online and found these, They turned out to be sturdily built and work beautifully in our sliding doors. They were shipped quickly and the order was accurate the first time. You are to be commended! May 30, 2008

I am replacing a current set that is 3 3/4" high. What are the total dimensions of the lockset?

The dimensions are height: 3 1/2 and width 2 3/8.

Is a locking tab also present on the other side, or does it have a slotted fitting?

The Emtek 2102 has the slotted fitting on the opposite side.

Is the emtek 2102 available with one finish on one side and a different finish on the other side? If so, how do I order this?

The Emtek 2102 is only available as a single finish item, cannot do a split finish.

Is this reversible? If so, I don't see how to order the specific handing I need.

The Emtek 2102 is reversible. Can be used for left or right handing.

The standard hight where to put the lock on the door veries but normally 3' from floor to the bottom of the handle Emtek 2102.

As this is a pocket door lock, it needs a different bore than the standard round hole?

This requires a standard rectangular door prep of 3-1/8" x 1-3/4".

Yes, if you used this on double pocket doors and installed a dummy (2201) on the opposing door, the doors would lock.

Will Emtek 2102 fit a door 1 5/8" thick?

The Emtek 2102 will fit a 1-5/8" thick door.

Will this work on a double pocket door set?

You can install this on one side fo the door. You will need to install a dummy version or a flush pull on the opposing door. One example would be the Emtek 2201.
