The Emtek 2201 requires a cut out depth of 13/16.
The Emtek 2201 is a flush pull so it should not project very far. They do not give that dimension, but I couldn't imagine it projecting more than 1/16".
The Emtek 2201 is only one side. Two would need to be ordered if you wanted one on each side. You can use a 2221 with the 2201. I hope this helps!
