4" Doorstop After searching multiple hardware sites, this is only one where I could find a 4" doorstop. Good luck trying to find one at a hardware store. Everywhere I looked, they are all the standard 3" length. January 6, 2011

Emtek Bronze Door Stop I ordered the Emtek 2231 4 Inch Door Stop (with screw) , and I'm happy with the quality and look of the actual bronze door stop itself. It's the "with screw" part of the door stop that gave me problems. In an attempt at "screwing" in the door stop, I first drilled out the baseboard and then, by hand, began screwing in the door stop. Pretty basic stuff. Well, the screw was of such poor quality, it broke off flush in the back of the door stop (remember, I was tightening it by hand). Since the screw broke flush, I cannot remove it to install another screw to the back of the Door Stop. Which means my new bronze Door Stop is now my new bronze “paper weight”. January 8, 2010

Another good product from Emtek Very straight forward product. Easy to install. The finish matches other Emtek as well as Baldwin hardware. May 23, 2008
